The PRIDE of NYC :: Catch a Matineé in 2014
There are PRIDE parties and then there are "PRIDE EVENTS" - blockbusters if you will; every bit the spectacular you’d expect from a big budget Hollywood summer film franchise that delivers on the fast-paced explosives, state-of-the-art special effects, and A-list talent. But, there are only a handful of skilled producers in the business of party productions that can call themselves the "Michael Bay of the Circuit Scene." That title would have to go to dance-floor designers Jake Resnicow and Patrick Crough.
Both are known singularly for their skills at elevating the nightlife element from coast to coast, but when these two powerhouses unite under the Matineé brand, you can expect them to pull off the biggest and most spectacular must-be-act ticket of the season. This year, with so many promoters vying for attention especially during PRIDE season, the gentlemen at Matineé are presenting revelers with their biggest outdoor party yet!
Matineé New York PRIDE 2014 will be one of the most sought after tickets guaranteed! Taking place on Saturday, June 28 at Governors Island, the landmark location has been "ground zero" for Matineé’s NYC bash for several seasons. Resnicow and Crough are working relentlessly to heighten the party to unparalleled levels of excitement. It will be the biggest outdoor event the city will be hosting from 4 p.m. until midnight with free ferry access from the Battery Maritime Building located at 10 South Street in lower Manhattan.
Must See, To Believe...
Always on the cutting edge of sound and theatrical design, this Matineé event will not be the exception. "We mix Broadway-show caliber production with fantasy nightlife elements, " Jake Resnicow was quoted In a recent press announcement for the Matineé NYC PRIDE pride. "We combine celebrity performers, spectacular Cirque acts, with sound and lighting and beats from the world’s hottest DJs." The line-up for this year’s event is already touted as one of the best headlining premiere international DJ talent, superstar Boris best known for his marathon sets of house music, which is very much in vogue on the remix scene.
Matineé NYC has always had a major flair for attracting the best crowds bent on enjoying the good vibes of the season, and this year is sure not to be an exception. A portion of the proceeds from the Matineé New York PRIDE 2014 ticket will benefit LifeBEAT and AIDS Life both internationally renowned non-profit organizations dedicated to continuing to fight the spread of HIV/AIDS and battle the stigma of those in our community living with HIV.
