EDGE ContributorSaturday Nov 14, 2009 Everyone has their own favorite Pixar movies. Some adore the Toy Story films, or Finding Nemo, or last year’s esoteric sci-fi fable, Wall-E.
The three I love most are Ratatouille, Up! and, especially, Monsters, Inc. The comedy about monsters working in a giant scream-generating factory has marvelously original characters, spectacular animation, hilarious dialogue and a plot that’s as clever and fast-paced as a classic British farce.
Billy Crystal and John Goodman provide the voices for the two lead characters, Mike Wazowski and Sulley, who are just a couple of monsters trying to do their jobs and protect a young girl named Boo, who accidentally wanders into the scream factory.
A great new 4-disc Blu-Ray and DVD set (S.R.P. $40.99) will allow fans and first-time viewers a chance to watch this great animated comedy again and again, and with loads of new special features.
In addition to the crisp, clear, almost 3D, hi-def version of the movie, the two Blu-Ray discs feature a wealth of great extras including:
