Strike
Ross (Ross Patterson) is an out-of-work actor, minimum wage pizza delivery drone, and a really good bowler. His animal-care girlfriend Lindsay (Tara Reid) has just been fired for causing a crazed penguin orgy.
But when their stoner roommate suggest they hit the highway as polyester pimp bowlers the trio takes the alleys and gutters of the professional bowling tour by storm.
Strike represents the American dream at its finest. Where else could two pizza shop losers get costumed up for bowling and turn it into a lucrative career?
Tara Reid ("Van Wilder," "American Pie 1 and 2") Robert Carradine ("Revenge of the Nerds") Vinnie Jones ("Snatch") and Vincent Pastore (TV’s "Sopranos") add big names to this little movie, and give it enough character to make it a decent experience.
Tara Reid is such a ditzy sweetheart that she should get the vote for greatest American female actress. Vinnie Jones plays a psychotic bowler in a role that you might expect him to play, if you were drunk enough.
"Strike" is no "KingPin" although it strives to be, which makes this a good film to rent when your first choice isn’t available at your local video store.
Special features include a behind the scenes look at the movie.
